On Saturday we went to visit Jaxson’s newest friend, Will. He is a a cutie and was the perfect baby the entire time we were there. He slept. Ahh do I miss those days. While Will slept in Jeremy’s arms, I chased Jaxson up and down the stairs over and over and over (Jaxson loves stairs–too bad he is not as good coming down as he is going up). Fun times. I got my workout for the day.
After visiting with baby Will, we headed to our friend Jess’s for a BBQ. Jaxson was way past nap time but we decided that we want to be social parents and that we were going to make this work. Luckily Jaxson got a power nap in between Will and Jess’s and so we were able to stay a little longer than planned. Plus there were alot of other kids there to play with so Jaxson was happy. He loves playing with other kids. They basically kicked balls back and forth across a tennis court (which turned out to be a perfect play area for kids–fenced in with no where to go–lol) for a few hours. So Jaxson was able to play with some kids and we were able to be social. Win Win. Plus Jaxson was so wore out after playing outside all day that he had a fantastic night of sleep–Win Win again
